5 incredible Mountain Cabins in Georgia

Duende Khiza, Lagodekhi National Park

Duende Hotels provides private cabins for couples and families near Lagodekhi Nature Reserve, one of Georgia's 15 national parks, in a small settlement. Each stilted A-frame is tastefully furnished with high-end items, and floor-to-ceiling windows provide the impression that you are resting among the trees. Every cabin has its own private outdoor hot tub, and meals are served every day (including free breakfast) in the resort's on-site restaurant. A Spanish-American couple started Duende, which employs residents of the nearby community. There are many trekking opportunities in Lagodekhi Nature Reserve, including a multi-day hike to Black Rock Lake near the borders of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Russia. Get a proper Georgia tour guide and explore the place easily.

Kazbegi Cabins In Georgia

It is one of the most suitable Georgia mountain cabins for rental around midway between the river and the trailhead for the Gergeti Trinity, Kazbegi Cabins, another housing option in Kazbegi, provides two Scandinavian-style accommodations closer to the city. Both self-contained cabins have a modern bathroom, a large sitting area for relaxing, and a kitchen with a hotplate. This house has a cabin-in-the-woods atmosphere because of the use of 100-year-old oak and hand-woven rugs & fabrics. Stunning views of the town and mountains beyond are framed by picture windows. The bedroom loft, with its little gateway window, is my favorite. The proprietors also own Maisi, a local cafe-coworking space where you can grab a delectable breakfast.

Eco Huts In Mestia

The main settlement and transportation hub of Georgia's northeastern Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, Mestia, is where Eco Huts in Mestia is located. The hut, which was hand-built from local wood, has a full kitchen and dining room as well as space for up to six people to sleep. The cabin is cozy despite the primitive furnishings. This is a terrific option for families or parties because of the front balcony, which is a nice addition, and the abundance of grassy space outside. The cabin is 50 meters from a natural mineral spring and can be reached on foot from Mestia's town center. Hatsvali Mountain Ski Resort is about 200 meters from the cabin's front door if you want to go skiing or snowboarding.

Gudauri Chalet-Apartment

The magnificent Gudauri Chalet-Apartment is a high-altitude luxury getaway in the Alps close to the Gudauri ski resort. Two bathrooms, one with a tub, a full kitchen, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, and two separate bedrooms are all featured in the 100-square-meter apartment. Huge windows that overlook the ski slopes and simple furnishings give this cottage an Aspen lodge-like atmosphere. Being only 100 meters from the closest chairlift, it is literally skiing to the door. Visitors also have used the adjoining hotel complex's indoor pool, sauna, and gym throughout the winter.

In Gudauri, there is a restaurant, a bar, a communal lounge, and a garden. This cabin also offers rooms dedicated to families as well as a terrace for visitors who are visiting with Georgia tour packages. For visitors who want to explore the neighborhood, the hotel offers ski equipment rental in addition to free private parking.  Ski lifts are just 5 minutes from the property. Gudauri Chalet is 36 miles from Ananuri and 26 km from Stepantsminda.

Kinchkha Wood House

Located in the verdant Imereti region of western Georgia, Kinchkha Wood House is a charming nature getaway despite not officially being a mountain cabin in Georgia. The residence is just a short distance from Mount Askhi and hiking paths in the nearby canyon and is located 55 kilometers north of Kutaisi next to Okatse Canyon and Kinchkha Waterfall (you can actually see the latter from the property). The two wooden homes, however, are the main highlight. They are both living in ethnographic museums at 170 and 90 years old. To demonstrate to visitors how the owner's relatives previously lived, one has kept its original interior intact.

The host of the lavish supra feasts, Irina, prepares a smorgasbord of Imeretian delicacies utilizing local and organic meats, dairy, and vegetables. The welcoming and courteous hosts provide transportation to the cottage and local region tours. Kinchkha Wood House is located in the Imereti Region, 17 miles from Kutaisi, and offers a grill and views of the mountain. There is complimentary WiFi around the building and complimentary on-site parking. Views of the river or waterfall can be found in some rooms. The resort's reception desk is open around the clock. There are a variety of activities available nearby, including horseback riding, fishing, and hiking making it one of the ideal places to visit in Georgia.
